As a relatively small company, it was important to us that we built a quality system that revolved around our existing processes, as opposed to rebuilding our operations from scratch. You were able to understand our current processes and translate that into a compliant quality system that has grown to become a core part of our business operations.

From the outset, obtaining ISO 9001 certification seemed like a daunting task, but you were there to help guide the process and answer our questions in a practical manner so that we could translate the quality system requirements into quality practice. Further, your flexibility to remain engaged after our certification to help grow our Quality System on a go-forward basis has been a real benefit to our business and ultimately to our customers.

Plasma Technology considered AS9100 certification almost 2 years ago as a way to meet our increasingly demanding customers’ needs. We knew it was not going to be easy and looked for help. We had tried other consultants and found that they did not take the time to really know how we ran our business. When we met with Benjamin, he took the time to research our products, our customers, and while walking the processes he even took the time to really know the employees.

Spartronics strongly recommends ISO PRO for AS9100 internal audits and support.

During the transition from AS9100 Rev C to Rev D, our management team decided to have a one-time independent review of our document structure and internal audits to ensure compliance and limit unforeseen risks. We reached out to a few consultants and found ISO PRO to have incredibly competitive rates and was responsive to all of our requests, follow-ups, and onsite meetings.

After completing the document review and audit cycle, our management team (not even suggested by the Quality Manager) decided that the value provided by the internal audits was more than expected and to continue using the services of ISO PRO for AS9100 Rev D internal audits going forward.

Overall, we have found the audits to help our company with several issues:

1. We get an independent point of view during all internal audits with highly detailed audits.
2. No additional resources are required on behalf of our organization to complete internal audits. A side benefit of which was a resultant cost savings in the potential production time lost that would have been spent using our internal auditors to complete these tasks.
3. The experience and value added by findings, recommendations, and opportunities during audits.
4. We have successfully completed our last two 3rd party surveillance and recertification audits using ISO PRO to conduct our Internal Audit Program and plan to continue utilizing this service.

As the Quality Manager, there are many more advantages that I am aware we benefit from that have made our facility and staff more prepared and better equipped to handle AS9100 registrar audits.

The entire management team is appreciative of the level of effort extended by ISO PRO to ensure that we not only meet the requirements of AS9100, but continue to improve our business in a meaningful way.
